What’s on this Autumn

Woolley Feast – Saturday September 4th.

Due to the reduced number of entries this year (perhaps a side effect of our ‘staycation’ summer and people making use of the late bank holiday week?) we are changing the format of the afternoon.  We will not be running the usual traditional sports day races and instead will have some fun kids/family races and family rounders and/or football.  This will start at 4pm, to allow everyone to have some fun before the food is served at 5pm.

Our t-shirt competition is still running, with the theme of ‘summer fun’ so please encourage your children to enter if they wish.

Please note if you haven’t already done so and would like to buy tickets for the food, they are available from Claire Slater,  Juliet Maddan and Jane Lister.  Tickets are £8 for a hot roast sandwich (veg option available) or £4 for a hot dog, both with dessert.

Finally, we are planning to organise Woolley Feast with the traditional format races next summer in late June/early July and will advertise the date next spring.

Future dates for your diary:

October 16th, a repeat of our hugely successful “Call My Bluff: wine tasting evening held by our Tarime committee in support of our friends in Tanzania.

We hope to run the village calendar competition again this year so make sure you save your favourite horizontally orientated snaps as we progress through the various seasons.
