A place to meet others, learn, and grow in faith.  
Woolley Church and Community News is our monthly news and information sheet. It is delivered to all houses in and around Woolley village and contains details of activities at St Peter’s and in the village.

We also have regular social events in Woolley, and fund-raising events for local, national, and Third World charities.

A place for children and young people

YA May 14 5

Young Adventurers (age 3 to Year 5) meet in the Village Hall during school term-time, at 5pm on the 2nd Sunday of the month, and followed by food at 6pm.

Diamondbacks (Year 6 and older) meet in the Village Hall during school term-time, at 7pm on the 2nd Sunday of the month.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tanzania Link
We have a close link with the church in Tarime in the new Diocese of Tarime, formerly part of the Diocese of Mara, in Tanzania.

In 2016 the church in Tarime opened its new Vicarage, built with financial help from St Peter’s Woolley

Sunday Service Times
10.30am 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays – Sung Communion using the Modern Rite (Common Worship)
2nd Sunday – Sung Communion using the Old English Rite (Book of Common Prayer)
Young Adventurers meet in the Village Hall at 5pm, followed by food at 6pm (during School Term Time)
Diamondbacks meet in the Village Hall at 7pm, following food at 6pm (during School Term Time)
9am 4th Sunday CW Sung Communion
Coffee & biscuits each Sunday in the church

Midweek Service Times
Thursday 10am Holy Communion using the Old English Rite (BCP) with Prayer for Healing (in abeyance till new Vicar present)
1st Monday 8pm Service of Stillness & Peace (suspended until new Vicar appointed)
The aim of the service is to provide a space to be still and quiet in God’s presence.
It is relaxed and informal. The service lasts 45 minutes.
2nd & 4th Fridays 10am Toddler Praise half an hour of songs, story, actions, for toddlers and their carers (during School Term Time).
